Από την αρχή του δύο χιλιάδες είκοσι πέντε, η αστυνομία έχει λάβει διακόσιες ενενήντα καταγγελίες για σεξουαλική βία κατά παιδιών σε όλο το νησί της Κύπρου. Μέχρι τώρα, τριάντα πέντε άτομα έχουν συλληφθεί και πενήντα τέσσερα έχουν καταδικαστεί.

С начала 2025 года полиция получила 290 жалоб на сексуальное насилие над детьми по всему Кипру. На данный момент 35 человек арестованы и 54 человека осуждены.
