Στο πρώτο μισό του δύο χιλιάδες είκοσι έξι, η Κύπρος ετοιμάζεται να αναλάβει την προεδρία του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ. Αναμένεται ότι κατά την περίοδο αυτή περίπου εξήντα δύο χιλιάδες πεντακόσια άτομα θα μείνουν σε ξενοδοχεία στην Κύπρο, δίνοντας ώθηση στον τουρισμό τους μήνες που η πληρότητα των ξενοδοχείων δεν είναι πολύ υψηλή.

В первой половине 2026 года Кипр готовится к председательству в Совете ЕС. Ожидается, что в этот период в отелях Кипра переночует примерно 62500 человек, что даст толчок развитию туризма в те месяцы, когда заполняемость отелей не очень высока.
