Ένα μεγάλο ηφαίστειο στη Χαβάη άρχισε να εκρήγνυται το απόγευμα της Κυριακής, στέλνοντας ρευστά σιντριβάνια λάβας και καυτή στάχτη ψηλά στον ουρανό. Η Γεωλογική Υπηρεσία των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών έδειξε βίντεο του Όρους Κιλαουέα να εκτοξεύει σιντριβάνια από λάβα περίπου τριακόσια μέτρα ψηλά, ενώ ένας ποταμός λάβας έρεε κοντά.

A large volcano in Hawaii began erupting on Sunday afternoon, sending fiery fountains of lava and hot ash high into the sky. The US Geological Survey showed video of Mount Kilauea spewing lava fountains about 300 meters high as a river of lava flowed nearby.
