Το Συμβούλιο των Υπουργών ενέκρινε μέτρα για λύση στο πρόβλημα έλλειψης νερού στην Κύπρο. Θα φτιάξουν πολλές μονάδες αφαλάτωσης. Το έτος δύο χιλιάδες είκοσι έξι, τα έξοδα για αφιλτραρισμένο νερό θα είναι πολλά, εκατόν σαράντα εκατομμύρια ευρώ. Αυτό δείχνει πόσο σοβαρό είναι το πρόβλημα.

Совет министров одобрил пакет мер для решения проблемы нехватки воды на Кипре путем строительства сразу нескольких опреснительных установок. В 2026 году расходы на опреснённую воду достигнут рекордных 140 млн. евро, что подчеркивает серьёзность ситуации.
