Στην Κύπρο αποφασίζουν αν θα βάζουν λογαριασμό στο ηλεκτρικό για τα πρώτα 25 εκατ. ευρώ. Αυτά τα χρήματα θα πληρώσει η Κύπρος για το έργο Great Sea Interconnector. Αυτό είναι ένα υποβρύχιο καλώδιο που συνδέει το νησί με την Ελλάδα.
