Ο Κύπριος Ευρωβουλευτής Φειδίας Παναγιώτου είπε ότι αν δεν είχε ασχοληθεί με την πολιτική, ίσως να ήταν δισεκατομμυριούχος. Όπως είπε, όταν ήταν είκοσι πέντε χρονών είχε ήδη φτιάξει μια διεθνή διαδικτυακή καριέρα με εισόδημα περίπου εκατό χιλιάδες ευρώ το μήνα, αλλά μετά την εκλογή του στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο, το εισόδημα του μειώθηκε σε περίπου δεκαπέντε χιλιάδες ευρώ.
Translation
Cypriot MEP Phidias Panayiotou noted that if he had not gone into politics, he would probably be a billionaire. According to him, at 25 he had already built an international online career with an income of about 100,000 euros per month, but after being elected to the European Parliament, his income decreased to about 15,000 euros.
