Δεκάδες πλαστικά μπουκάλια και σκουπίδια ήταν σκορπισμένα στο πεζοδρόμιο και τον ποδηλατόδρομο στη Λευκωσία μετά τον σημερινό μαραθώνιο. Η σκηνή έμοιαζε περισσότερο με χωματερή παρά με χώρο για αθλητικά γεγονότα. Στη συνέχεια, όλα καθαρίστηκαν από τον δήμο.

Dozens of plastic bottles and trash were scattered along the sidewalk and bike path in Nicosia after today's marathon. The scene resembled more of a landfill than a place for public sports events. Subsequently, everything was cleaned up by the municipality.
