Σε μια συνέντευξη με την εφημερίδα Φιλελεύθερος, ο Πρόεδρος της Κύπρου είπε ότι η κυβέρνηση θέλει να δείξει τον σημαντικό ρόλο της Δημοκρατίας της Κύπρου στην περιοχή. Στο εσωτερικό, η κυβέρνηση θέλει να κάνει καλύτερη την καθημερινή ζωή των πολιτών και να βελτιώσει πολύ το επίπεδο ζωής τους.
