Τον Ιανουάριο, ο αριθμός των ταξιδιωτών από την Κύπρο που πήγαν στο εξωτερικό ήταν κατά δεκαπέντε τοις εκατό μεγαλύτερος από την ίδια περίοδο πέρυσι. Οι περισσότεροι ταξίδευαν για διασκέδαση. Οι κύριοι προορισμοί: η Ελλάδα, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, η Πολωνία.
