Έρευνα για μια επίθεση στο κέντρο της Λάρνακας αποκάλυψε ένα σχέδιο εκβιασμού για "προστασία" από επιχειρήσεις και νυχτερινά κέντρα. Η αντιπαράθεση, που ξεκίνησε επειδή ένας επιχειρηματίας δεν πλήρωσε μια εγκληματική ομάδα, εξελίχθηκε σε μαζικό καβγά με χρήση μαχαιριών και πυροβολισμών.
