Τα μέλη του Κυπριακού Κοινοβουλίου εκφράζουν ανησυχίες για την κοπή των παλιών μαύρων πεύκων στη προστατευόμενη περιοχή Natura δύο χιλιάδες στα βουνά Τρόοδος. Επισημαίνεται ότι τα δέντρα κόπηκαν χωρίς να ακολουθηθούν διαδικασίες για το περιβάλλον. Έχει σταλεί αίτημα στο Υπουργείο Γεωργίας.
Translation
Members of the Cyprus Parliament are raising concerns about the cutting down of old black pines in the protected Natura 2000 zone in the Troodos Mountains. It is noted that the trees were felled without following environmental procedures. A request has been sent to the Ministry of Agriculture.
