Ούτε η βροχή ούτε το χιόνι στα βουνά μπορούν να αλλάξουν την εικόνα της ξηρασίας στην Κύπρο. Οι εισροές στα φράγματα είναι σχεδόν μηδενικές. Μια έντονη καμπάνια για μείωση της κατανάλωσης νερού κατά δέκα τοις εκατό αρχίζει τον Φεβρουάριο. Θα δοθούν αυστηρές οδηγίες σε όλους τους οργανισμούς ύδρευσης για να ελέγξουν την σπατάλη.
Translation
Neither rain nor snow in the mountains could change the picture of drought in Cyprus. Inflows to reservoirs remain practically zero. An intensive campaign to reduce water consumption by 10% begins in February. Strict instructions will be issued to all water supply organizations to control wastefulness.
