Στις είκοσι Ιανουαρίου κάθε χρόνο οι Αζέροι τιμούν όσους πέθαναν σε μια αιματηρή σφαγή που έκανε η πρώην ΕΣΣΔ ενάντια σε πολίτες για να καταπνίξει το εθνικό απελευθερωτικό κίνημα.
