Οι αρχές άρχισαν να γκρεμίζουν παράνομες κατασκευές στην ακτή της Περβόλιας (Λάρνακα) ως μέρος μέτρων για την προστασία της παραλίας. Κάποιες κατασκευές έχουν ήδη κατεδαφιστεί, μία άλλη περίπτωση εξετάζεται στο δικαστήριο, και έχει ξεκινήσει ποινική υπόθεση εναντίον του ιδιοκτήτη.
