Ο διευθυντής της Ραδιοφωνικής Αρχής Κύπρου υπερασπίζεται την επιλογή του τραγουδιού Τζάλλα για τη συμμετοχή στην Eurovision είκοσι είκοσι έξι, λέγοντας ότι το τραγούδι ισορροπεί την παραδοσιακή και σύγχρονη κυπριακή ταυτότητα. Η Κύπρος ξοδεύει εκατόν εβδομήντα χιλιάδες ευρώ για τη συμμετοχή στον διαγωνισμό φέτος.
