Το δικαστήριο στην Κύπρο αθώωσε μια Ουκρανή που κατηγορήθηκε για ξέπλυμα χρήματος, επειδή η κατηγορία δεν μπόρεσε να αποδείξει την εγκληματική προέλευση των χρημάτων που ήρθαν στην Κύπρο σε πάνω από είκοσι ταξίδια. Όμως, το δικαστήριο την βρήκε ένοχη σε είκοσι περιπτώσεις που δήλωσε ψευδή στοιχεία στα τελωνεία. Η υπόθεση θα συνεχιστεί στις τέσσερις Φεβρουαρίου.
Translation
The Cypriot court acquitted a Ukrainian citizen accused of money laundering, as the prosecution failed to prove the criminal origin of the funds brought to Cyprus over 20 trips. However, the court found her guilty of 20 counts of filing false customs declarations. The case will continue on February 4.
