Η Κυπριακή Κυβέρνηση ενέκρινε έναν νόμο που επιτρέπει στις αρχές να ακούν τηλεφωνικές συνομιλίες, αναφέρει το Υπουργείο Δικαιοσύνης και Δημόσιας Τάξης της Κύπρου. Τονίζεται ότι ο νόμος ενισχύει τη δυνατότητα του κράτους να καταπολεμήσει το οργανωμένο έγκλημα και προστατεύει τα βασικά ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα.
