Η περιβαλλοντική διαχείριση της Κύπρου έχει σταματήσει το σχέδιο για να χτίσουν κυματοθραύστες στην ακτή της Λάρνακας (από το Κίτι στο αεροδρόμιο). Σημειώνεται ότι μέρος της διάβρωσης εδώ προκαλείται από υπάρχοντες κυματοθραύστες, και νέες κατασκευές μπορεί να κάνουν το πρόβλημα χειρότερο.
Translation
The environmental management of Cyprus has suspended the project to build breakwaters on the coast of Larnaca (from Kiti to the airport). It is noted that part of the erosion here is caused by existing breakwaters, and new constructions may only exacerbate the problem.
