Ο Βλαντιμίρ Αλεξέγιεφ μπήκε στο νοσοκομείο αφού τον πυροβόλησαν πολλές φορές την Παρασκευή από έναν άντρα σε ένα κτίριο διαμερισμάτων στη βορειοδυτική Μόσχα. Η επίθεση ήρθε μετά από μια σειρά από δολοφονίες ανώτερων στρατιωτικών αξιωματικών που η Ρωσία κατηγορεί στην Ουκρανία.
