Η κίνηση των οικολόγων στην Κύπρο ζητάει να γίνει νόμος για τη σύλληψη και την μαζική στείρωση των αδέσποτων γατών από οργανώσεις προστασίας ζώων και ιδιώτες. Αυτό πρέπει να γίνεται αφού ενημερωθούν οι κάτοικοι και οι στειρωμένες γάτες να επιστρέφουν στον συνήθη χώρο τους.
